Harassment in the Work Place, What Does it Cover.

Harassment can take all kinds of form in a work place. It can be anything from sexual to actual violence. Intimidation is also considered a form of harassment.
If you spread something around about an employee, whether it be a picture, text, or even a social media comment, it can be considered a form of harassment. By a person doing this, they have set out to embarrass, intimidate, or make your just harder. Personal items like this is not part of the work program. You are causing the employee that was harassed to feel threatened and they can't perform their job properly.
Many think harassment is just sexual or racial. It covers so much more. Since social media on the internet has been prominent, even forms of it are included in harassment now. Passing a bad photo, showing a text, or even sharing a comment with others, when it is designed to intimidate or cause harm to an individual, is now considered in the harassment definition.

So, if you feel this is happening to you or another individual, make sure you get it reported immediately. Nobody is above the law when it comes to harassment. It doesn't matter their position in the company.
