We
make choices. Healthy choice does not preclude acceptance of “what is.” It
builds upon it. It is great to have the power to choose at our fingertips, but
without a plan or purpose, our lives operate randomly. Living by choice is
better than by default because we wouldn’t prefer to be the involuntary victims
of the choices of others. We need to sense our direction to make wise choices.
Here
is an important rule of thumb: Always ask yourself,
“Am
I being motivated by love or by fear?”
Love
will always lead us safely forward. Reacting to fear can deter or propel us
into terrible circumstances.
Ask
yourself what your greatest joy is
and move toward it.
and move toward it.
There
is always a way to connect with it.
