According to PCRM, it
is important to teach kids at a young age about healthy food. Introduce a
variety of vegetables and fruits to infants in order to make it a habit for
them to eat lots of veggies and fruits. What a toddler learns in his/her first
five years will affect the rest of his/her life. If a small child learns good
habits at a very young age, then those habits will likely stick with him/her
throughout life. But if the child grows up in a very toxic environment, picking
up all kinds of negative energy as well as bad food habits, then this child
will likely spiral downhill as it grows up. So, when feeding your small child, consider
filling his/her plants with a variety of colorful veggies and fruits, but make
sure there are more veggies than fruits on the kid’s plate. A perfect dish
might include a colorful array of vegetables as well as some colorful, juicy
and sweet fruits added for that sweet flavor that children often crave. Also,
consider some food with whole grains and healthy proteins.
