Your body needs cholesterol: both good and bad!

The modern world is more afraid of the word "cholesterol". People today try all their best to cut down foods that contain cholesterol.
The medical world has divided cholesterol into two types and has named them as "good" (HDL) and "Bad (LDL). But most of us are not aware that our body needs both of these two. Danger occurs only when they are in overabundance or very low.
Cholesterol is necessary for the production of hormones such as cortisol, estrogen, and testosterone, to make vitamin D and for the digestive functions of liver.
If cholesterol level is very low it will affect several functions of your body and mind. It can make you feel tired and sluggish. It may lead to memory loss, low libido and reduce vitamin D level.
