The nature has given
us number of gifts in the form of man woman and child but it is very
dis-heartening to known how the commercialization has entrapped the whole
concept of The God and the nature. The recent issue of a commercial magazine has sparked outrage for its photos of a ten year
old model in a sea animal print wearing a chest revealing gold dress and heavy
make up. Cries for how young is too young to model be sexy. It has ignited
controversy about early sexualization of children. However, what of the looming
concern of the programme. Young children to be ultra conscious about physical
appearance and impact on adult body image and disordered eating. Today
television is full of reality shows which featured print sized beauty queens
decked out in pricy gowns, full make up and big hair. Pageants aren’t the dress
up play we knew as little girls. They are a multi-billion industry. And it is not just beauty pageants.
A recent reality dance program shows ugly faces of model turned dancer and
prancing around the stage.
Oh no it is not required in this world. Beauty of a girl lies in the eyes of a on looker and how he visualize it in the context of nature and his respect towards the womanhood. In the eastern part of world and western part of world without any prejudice I would like to stress on the need of keeping the woman with respect and her beauty intact. Many experts agree that participation in activities that focus on physical appearance at an early age can influence teen and/or adult self-esteem, body image and self-worth. Issues with self-identity after a child "retires" from the pageant scene in her teens are not uncommon. Struggles with perfection, dieting, eating disorders and body image can take their toll in adulthood. But it is very painful to know how they were mis-used and with the help of them they are thrown out of the arena. Because their life span is short instead of they should get the guidance from their seniors how to live happily, zestfully and intelligently.
When the child was born he/she was brought up by their parents and educate them till the age of school and college and help them to (children) to enter the school of life with their professional capacity and join the profession they like the most and perform their duties and exercises their right to run the society and let others to live happily. God bless them with lot of blessings.
